Desktop or Web Based Software Services - the choice is yours

Hosting Auctionitis and/or Tradar on a "virtual server" (VS) is an inexpensive and clever way to access Auctionitis from anywhere you have a web connection.  You do not need to have Auctionitis installed on the PC you are using. 

There is no need to invest in expensive monthly web based software systems over which you have little to no control.

Using a VS has the following benefits:

• Access Auctionitis & Tradar from anywhere you have a web connection - no need to have software installed on your desktop PC
• Allow users to access Auctionitis from anywhere in the world via RDP.  
• The only restriction is that currently you can only have one person accessing Auctionitis at a time as it is not multiple-simultaneous user capable but Tradar is
• Have Auctionitis on a desktop pc to prepare auctions and use the xml manager to upload them to the VS. Schedule the VS to load auctions at your preferred time
• Log on to the VS and create/manage your auctions there
• Auctionitis will not be dependent on your PC/Internet connection to load to TradeMe - it will load direct from the server so there would be less likelihood of loads failing due to power cuts, crashes etc
• The virtual server comes with a windows licence and a dedicated New Zealand ip address
